History
Our first web project was commissioned back in 1996, although our parent
company, Pye Tait,
was established in 1991.
- 2007
- Continuing the expansion of Xentica's client base, 2007 will see the creation of a brand new CMS integrated site for the Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB), a secure database facility for the Advisory Centre for Education (ACE), a newly designed, search engine optimised site for Phoenix Engineering as well as a number of back-end facilities for sites owned by local firm Take That Ltd.
- 2006
- This highly successful year saw the design and creation of the new Vocational Languages Resource Bank for CILT, the National Centre for Languages, a brand new information-intensive website for Parenting UK, a dedicated website for English Heritage's Garden Bursary Scheme, a revamped, search engine optimised site for the Shield Group and the new Lifelong Learning Programme website for the British Council.
- 2005
- An extremely productive year so far, with the development of a major pan-European website: Europarent.org, a website for Scottish Electrical Certification and an On-line Learning Support Centre for Electrotechnical Apprentices.
The year ended with new site designs for the Ironing Lady Ltd, LG Careers and a site revamp for SELECT with enhanced back-end facilities.
- 2004
- A busy year which has seen the development of several brand new websites including solutions4business and Dr. Thornton & Partners. We have also re-designed websites for Wm Saunders Partnership and the Yachting Heritage.
- 2003
- The year begins with new websites for Connected4Life
and SECTT and an events management
facility for the Employers' Organisation
for local government. More recently we've launched new sites for
Ebookx and the Centre
for Rail Skills.
- 2002
- It's a year of re-designing, re-branding and major developments for most of our clients.
- 2001
- In line with our strategic plan, we're re-branded as Xentica. New projects include LGcareers, Socrates UK and Ebookx.
- 2000
- Continued investment means that over 99% of our work is now done in-house and new clients include Metier and the HtF.
- 1999
- Through key investment and planned growth the web division expands and several new clients join us, including LGNTO, SELECT and the British Council.
- 1998
- Several new sites are launched, such as Motor Careers. Many clients continue to call on us to maintain the websites we built for them.
- 1997
- Ensuring quality rather than quantity, we take on just a handful of new clients and continue to expand our skills set. NTO National Council become our largest client so far.
- 1996
- We begin life as the web department of Pye Tait. Existing clients like RITC, MITC and NET ask for our help in creating an online presence.
