We constantly strive to maintain consistently high levels of quality for our projects. Various internal systems exist, many based on recognised standards, and some of those are explained in more detail below.
Xentica has a genuine commitment to quality and as such is fully registered to ISO 9001:2000. The quality system covers all aspects of our business from project management to staff appraisals and training.
Our quality system ensures that two senior staff members review all projects, deliverables and materials developed for clients. All project work is controlled by a central database which is reviewed at a full staff review meeting on a fortnightly basis.
The quality system has been developed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 which means that clients can be confident that all outputs are of the highest standard.
We are subject to a total of three external audits per year - two conducted by our external quality consultants and one by the accrediting body.
Every project undertaken by Xentica is developed with strict compliance to the latest standards and guidelines helping to ensure that all websites and systems are future-proof, fully accessible, usable and stable for all users.
Usability, accessibility and platform independence are three key issues which web standards aim to address. The core standards we adhere to are:
We have been a member of the UK Web Design Association (UKWDA) since its inception in 2001; an organisation formed to help provide standards and represent world-class talent.
We also adhere to the Yorkshire & Humber ICT Supplier Customer Charter, a standard to help ensure high levels of service and quality for clients of companies based in our region of the UK.
Xentica also conforms to the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI). This enables search engines to quickly and accurately index your website for maximum visibility on the Internet.
