The sixth public working draft of XHTML 2 has been published and is currently being tested.
Extensible HyperText Markup Language (XHTML) is XML based and is the successor of HTML. XHTML 2 will be the latest version in this family of markup languages. It will remove all presentation elements from the document structure of a web page and allow Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control them, giving more flexibility, accessibility and presentation possibilities.
